On this page you will find articles, books, devotional, some survival tools and of course, the Word of God and Spirit of Prophecy guidance and instructions to get us get ready and stay ready for the great crisis ahead of us.
It is our intention, therefore, to use these resources to highlight our need for Christ and the importance of obedience to all of God's laws both natural and moral laws.
When we consider the trouble that is right before us depicted in quotations such as,
"The youth should seek God more earnestly. The tempest is coming, and we must get ready for its fury by having repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Lord will arise to shake terribly the earth. We shall see troubles on all sides. Thousands of ships will be hurled into the depths of the sea. Navies will go down, and human lives will be sacrificed by millions. Fires will break out unexpectedly, and no human effort will be able to quench them. The palaces of earth will be swept away in the fury of the flames.
Disasters by rail will become more and more frequent; confusion, collision, and death without a moment's warning will occur on the great lines of travel. The end is near, probation is closing.
Oh, let us seek God while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near! The prophet says: “Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.” Ellen White, Maranatha - Page 37.
At times it may seem overwhelming, yet God's people are not without hope.
God’s people are sustained by Heavenly power and protection as they go through the time of trouble (tribulation).
The time of trouble begins when Jesus makes the pronouncement in heaven: “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” Revelation 22:11.
With those words of assurance, those that are "in Christ" can confidently say, " We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history," Life Sketches of Ellen, P.72.1.
Yours in Christ,
Pastor Punch
